This giving season, we’re proud to support our Q4 Cause with a $35,000 matching gift to Rhea County Community Center (RC3), a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit serving our home community through wellness and health programming.
Currently the full-size gym located at RC3’s main campus in downtown Dayton is heated but not cooled. Venue for many of the center’s youth sports and afterschool programs, as well as programs like Silver Sneakers for local seniors and youth summer camps, installing HVAC has long been a lofty goal for RC3 leadership.
But with a price tag estimated at approximately $70,000, the project has remained just out of reach for the non-profit.
So we’re stepping in to help.
Now through Dec. 31, we will match all gifts and donations made to RC3 for the purchase and installation of an HVAC system for the center’s gym up to $35,000, meaning every gift is doubled.
“We see a need and we want to help,” said Cara Roberson, president of SimplyBank. “RC3 is a tremendous asset to our community, and its programs provide much-needed opportunities for both adults and kids in Rhea County to get involved in sports and organized activities.”

“This community has consistently supported us for more than 130 years,” she said. “When we looked at the impact RC3 already has on our home community, the opportunity to support its mission and the kids and families it serves presented a unique chance for SimplyBank to do something special.”
