SimplyBank announces grand opening date for new Cleveland branch

Branch welcomes community to celebrate at 25th Street NW location

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- With renovations complete and the doors officially open, locally-owned SimplyBank’s first full-service branch in Bradley County is set to celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 5 p.m.

Led by longtime local banker and Lee University alumni Pete Brummett, SimplyBank’s new Cleveland branch at 1432 25th Street NW represents the fulfillment of a longtime mission to bring SimplyBank’s full product and service lineup to the city.

Based in neighboring Rhea County, SimplyBank has for decades served Cleveland and Bradley County, and in Nov. 2020 opened its first brick-and-mortar location in the community when it premiered a loan production office on North Lee Highway.

All services previously housed at the North Lee Highway office are now based at the full-service location at 25th Street.

John Owen, CEO at SimplyBank, said the successful launch of a full-service location in Cleveland is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the organization.

Brummett joined SimplyBank in 2021 to help launch and then lead the new Cleveland location.

SimplyBank Cleveland’s grand opening is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 5 p.m. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 5 p.m.

Prior to the beginning of the grand opening, temporary parking and traffic blockages will go into effect at the location, but the office will be remain open for business during normal business hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drive-thru accessibility will be limited beginning at 1 p.m.
